Joan Duhaylungsod is one of 120 nurses recently recruited from the Philippines and are currently practicing in many Manitoba communities like Brandon, Portage La Prairie, Carmen, Pilot Mound, Emerson and Dauphin. The nurses have filled positions in the Assiniboine, Brandon, Central and Parkland regional health authorities.
