Despite the prevailing global economic crisis, employment prospects for Filipino nurses and other health care professionals in the United States remained bright in the coming year.
The local recruitment industry reported that representatives of a US-based healthcare employment provider are coming to the country to recruit hundreds of Filipino healthcare workers.
A recruitment official said representatives of Cambridge Healthcare will be arriving in January to personally interview and recruit qualified Filipino health care professionals.
Cambridge Healthcare, which provides workers for 260 world-class facilities all over the USA, is looking for 600 registered nurses, physical and occupational therapists.
Those to be recruited will be deployed immediately to US hospitals all over the mainland.
