Below is my email to the State of Vermont Board Of Nursing inquiring on their policy in applying for Nclex in their state. Text in bold red is their answer to my questions. My name is Myk, im a registered nurse in the Philippines. Im applying for nclex. My state of choice is Vermont. I have some questions that i hope you can help me out.
1. Does Vermont require CGFNS inorder to take NCLEX or inorder to work there? Only if you did not attend an English teaching college.
2. Regarding the Application Fee of $150, what form of payment is available? Cash, Money Order, Bank Draft, etc. Yes, money order, bank check/draft, travelers check if in the U.S. personal check is fine
3. Does the state of Vermont eligible for reciprocity with other state? California for example? Yes, other states still may have additional requirements for you to complete before issuing you a license even though you already have a Vermont license.
4. Do you require finger printing? If yes, how can i get a hold of it? No, we do not require finger prints.
